Denial Zone

Denial is easier than Acceptance
Denial is a form of escapement from the bitter reality, and acceptance is suddenly the new war zone that needs to be escaped from. But how can that affect a person with a chronic condition? How can we improve their management plan? What other ways to approach these situations to be certain that they are willingly receiving the best care, even if they were provided with it?
When diagnosing a patient with a chronic illness, be prepared for the hardest part: adherence.
A referral to a health psychologist that is trained in supporting and encouraging those patients on a regular basis is an essential part of their treatment.
Denial is thought of like a protective shield against sensory receptors that specifically target a differential in identification, resulting in a peaceful mind. If these receptors diffused across the mental barriers, they powerfully crush all memories a person can only recognise themselves.
The conflicting question is: How to maintain both physical and mental health?
The two systems work together, and very often this fact is forgotten to connect it with everything happening around us.
Both denial and acceptance come with their pros and cons, but to find balance takes longer than finding even the rarest diagnosis.

For all the medical specialists, please consider the importance of a health psychologist as the very next step upon the patient's agreement when you break the news that will change their life.
Be considerate and understandable.
Never judge your patient and reach conclusions on your own or with your colleagues, instead just simply ask the patient directly "why?" Hear from them, and not from others, although no doctor should be reminded of the basic medical ethics.
Allow time for them to speak, to express their worries and concerns; they are humans after all with feelings and fears, just like yourself, Doctor.
Show them that you care, and that you worked hard to reach where you are not for the title, but to gain access to the job of that title; therefore, their health is a priority. Test results and scans will never be sufficient enough to complete your evaluation or perceive a full image of their overall performance in making life adjustments due to a chronic health condition, especially when they require lifelong medications.
Any employee that works in a healthcare sector can have a huge impact on the patient's wellbeing, not only doctors. Their attitude can determine how well they progress. Minor gestures and heartwarming smiles can strengthen them with a lot of hope and optimism; nonetheless, negative whispers, constant appearance of being rushed or neglecting them at times when they're in despair can shatter them into pieces that may never be put into parts again.
Be careful, and always give your best care to everyone that is under your care.
